The lady I bought a real Mary Hoyer from told me she remembered a Hoyer box and that the outfit was original to the doll. Of course, I wanted to show off Mom's knitting on that doll so I put this on one that isn't marked and was bald. Her face was dirty but under the soil, her complextion was lovely. She's wearing one of my mohair wigs that I set and styled just for her. The sandals are also my work. And what sunsuit is complete without a hat? The doll is made of the early red plastic which is a feature of the early Mary Hoyer so it's possible she's one of the rare, unmarked Mary Hoyers. Value is debatable but I wouldn't part with her for under $300. I call her Sunny.
